Provided are a pixel electrode structure (200) and a liquid crystal display device. The pixel electrode structure (200) comprises a strip-shaped trunk electrode. The trunk electrode comprises a first trunk electrode (201) and a second trunk electrode (202), where the center of the first trunk electrode (201) and the center of the second trunk electrode (202) are perpendicular to each other to form four display areas (21, 22, 23, and 24). Multiple strips of strip-shaped branch electrodes (211, 221, 231, and 241) are arranged at intervals respectively in the four display areas (21, 22, 23, and 24). The borders at the tail ends of the multiple strips of branch electrodes (211, 221, 231, and 241) are in flush. The border at the tail end of the trunk electrode is not in flush with the borders at the tail ends of the branch electrodes (211, 221, 231, and 241). With this scheme, the display quality at the tail end of the trunk electrode is improved.
