Abstract:
A planar deflectable catheter (100), comprising: a catheter main body (10) and an adjusting structure (20). The catheter main body (10) has a long and thin tubular shape and is flexible. The adjusting structure (20) comprises a handle (22), a plunger (21), a sleeve (23), and a pull wire (24). The plunger (21) is connected to the catheter main body (10). The sleeve (23) is received inside the catheter main body (10). The handle (22) and the sleeve (23) are connected to the respective two ends of the pull wire (24). The sleeve (23) is fixed to the plunger (21). The sleeve (23) extends through the catheter main body (10). The plunger (21) is movably attached to the handle (22). The plunger (21) moves relative to the handle (22) to bend the sleeve (23) so as to bend the catheter main body (10). Relative displacement between the handle (22) and the plunger (21) is controlled, so that planar deflection of the catheter main body (10) can be controlled, achieving controllable deflection of a distal plane of the catheter main body (10), enhancing precision in position-locating operations performed by doctors, and improving surgical success rates and therapeutic efficacy.
