Abstract:
An illumination device includes: a planar radiation surface; at least one light source (5) arranged so as to face the radiation surface; and a sheet-shaped optical control component (20) that is arranged between the radiation surface and the light source and that has optical characteristics such as transmission, refraction, scattering, and reflection that are varied region-by-region, the distribution of said optical characteristics being defined in accordance with the relative position with respect to one of said light source(s) and being controlled by at least one of a reflective film having a distribution in reflectance, a reflective film having a distribution in aperture ratio, or a lens.
