Abstract:
This planar light-emitting illumination device comprises: light-emitting units (41) each having a package substrate (41b) for packaging light-emitting semiconductor elements (41a), and an input terminal (61a) for providing an electrical connection with the light-emitting semiconductor elements (41a); and a housing (45) for accommodating a plurality of light-emitting units (41), the housing having a plurality of output terminals (61b) for supplying electrical power from an external power supply to the light-emitting units (41). The light-emitting units (41) and the housing (45) are detachably secured together by connection means for connecting the input terminals (61a) and the output terminals (61b).
