Abstract:
A planar light source converter for converting radiation light from a light source into a flat beam of light has a specified thickness at a part where the light incident face of a light guide opposed to the light source is located. A reflector for reflecting radiation light from the light source toward the light incident face has a part for clamping the planar light source converter in the thickness direction thereof. The clamping part touches a corner part formed by the light exit face and the light incident face of the light guide and is spaced apart from the light exit face. Furthermore, the reflector forms a gap smaller than the specified thickness between the light source and the light incident face.
