Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of providing a planar lighting device with which it is possible to prevent expansion/contraction and warping of a light guide plate due to heat and the absorption of moisture and to prevent a decrease in the light utilization efficiency caused by deformation of the light guide plate due to vibration and the like, and with which incident light can be guided all the way to the interior of the light guide plate and uniform lighting can be achieved, this planar lighting device has multiple securing spring members which are arrayed in the longitudinal direction on the light-incident surface of a light guide sheet and have elasticity in the direction perpendicular to the light-emitting surface, and press the light guide sheet and a light source unit in the direction perpendicular to the light-emitting surface of the light guide sheet.
