Abstract:
A planar motor adopting groove-type coils (2) is mainly used in the field of mechanical production devices and robots. The planar motor comprises a translator (4) and a stator (1). The translator (4) is composed of four one-dimensional coil arrays, and the arranging directions of the adjacent coil arrays form a degree of 90°. Each one-dimensional coil array is formed by a stagger arrangement of rectangular coils (3) without iron cores and rectangular groove-type coils (2) without iron cores, and the two short edges of each rectangular groove-type coil (2) without iron cores are warped upwardly to form a groove type. The long edge of an adjacent groove-type coil (2) is inserted between two long edges of each rectangular coil (3), or one long edge of a left adjacent groove-type coil (2) and one long edge of a right adjacent groove-type coil (2) are inserted between two long edges of each rectangular coil (3). The long edges of the two kinds of coils are both arranged on the same plane. The stator (1) is composed of a permanent magnet array. Compared with a coil array (14) composed of rectangular coils without iron cores, the coil array can generate larger thrust in the periodic magnetic field of the permanent magnet array so as to improve the thrust and the acceleration of the planar motor.
