Abstract:
A conventional Bagley-polygon power distributor, which is of a planar structure, has a fixed transmission path length of a quarter-wave between its input terminal and each of two output terminals adjacent thereto and further has a shape that is a regular, odd-numbered polygon with the length of each side being a half of the wavelength of a designed frequency, resulting in a large size.Additionally, the conventional Bagley-polygon power distributor has the output terminals at its vertexes, so that the placement of the output terminals or the like might lead to inconvenience. The present invention specifies only the characteristic impedances of the transmission paths so as to match those impedances, and allows any desired path lengths to be selected. In this way, the path length between the adjacent output terminals can be appropriately adjusted to be shortened in accordance with what is to be designed, and it is further possible to manufacture a power distributor in which its output terminals are placed in a line.
