Abstract:
A planar waveguide laser device (1) that is provided with: a semiconductor laser (10) that has a plurality of light-emission points that are aligned in the width direction; a planar-waveguide-type solid-state laser element (20) that constitutes a laser oscillator and that is excited by output light from the semiconductor laser (10); and a wavelength conversion element (30) that performs wavelength conversion on a laser that is generated by the laser oscillator. A heat sink (31) that carries the wavelength conversion element (30) has temperature compensation means (32) provided thereupon that are arranged to the outside of the wavelength conversion element (30) on respective width-direction sides. The temperature compensation means (32) equalize the width-direction temperature distribution of the heat sink (31) in at least the region that is directly below the wavelength conversion element (30).
