Abstract:
A laser medium (21) is formed in a plate shape and has a waveguide structure in the thickness direction of a surface orthogonal to a light axis. A non-linear material (31) is disposed on the light axis of the laser medium (21) so as to be near the laser medium (21), and has a waveguide structure in the same direction as the waveguide structure of the laser medium (21). Of the surfaces of the non-linear material (31) that are orthogonal to the light axis, a 1/4 wavelength plate (41) is disposed near the surface opposite the surface that is near the laser medium (21).
