Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to achieve a reflection lens-optical fiber coupling system in which a part of light that has been split for use in a monitor and returned to an optical fiber is efficiently coupled in the optical fiber. The plano-convex lens according to the present disclosure is provided with a flat surface (21) and a convex surface (23), wherein: the convex surface (23) has a first aspherical surface (A1) and a second aspherical surface (A2) that convert, into parallel rays, light rays emitted from end faces of two optical fibers (11), the end faces being respectively disposed at a first position (P1) and a second position (P2); and in the case when the parallel rays entering the first aspherical surface (A1) are reflected on a reflection surface formed on the flat surface (21), the second aspherical surface (A2) focuses the parallel rays on the second position (P2).
