Abstract:
The present invention provides: a planographic printing plate original that has, on a hydrophilic support, an image-recording layer containing (A) organic-inorganic hybrid particles, and (B) an infrared-ray absorption agent, wherein (A) the organic-inorganic hybrid particles are organic-inorganic hybrid particles in which (a) inorganic particles having hydroxyl groups and (b) organic components are linked via (c) linking groups having urethane bonds or urea bonds; a planographic printing plate manufacturing method employing the planographic printing plate original; a planographic printing plate original with which it is possible to achieve high levels of printing durability and developability by using the organic-inorganic hybrid particles in which (a) the inorganic particles having hydroxyl groups and (b) the organic components are linked via (c) the linking groups having urethane bonds or urea bonds, wherein the organic components and the inorganic particles form a network structure in which (b) the organic components are linked with at least two of (a) the inorganic particles and (a) the inorganic particles are linked with at least two of (b) the organic components; a planographic printing plate manufacturing method employing the planographic printing plate original; and organic-inorganic hybrid particles employed in the planographic printing plate originals.
