Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a planographic printing plate original plate that has excellent resistance to small-dot plate wear when used as a planographic printing plate, a method for manufacturing a planographic printing plate, a printing method, and a method for manufacturing an aluminum support body. The planographic printing plate original plate according to the present invention is a planographic printing plate original plate (10) comprising an aluminum support body (12a) and an image recording layer (16) arranged on the aluminum support body. The density of concave parts having a depth of 0.70 μm or more from a central line is 3000/mm2 or more according to a measurment of a region of 400 μm × 400 μm of a surface on an image recording layer side of the aluminum support body using a non-contact three-dimensional roughness meter. A surface area ratio ΔS calculated from an actual area Sx and a geometrical measurement area S0 is 35% or more, the actual area Sx being determined by an approximate three-point method from three-dimensional data obtained by measuring, using an atomic force microscope, 512 × 512 points in a region of 25 μm × 25 μm of the surface on the image recording layer side of the aluminum support body.
