Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a plant-based soup base that exhibits an excellent richness and a rich aftertaste and that does so even without the use of animal-based starting materials, e.g., pork bones, chicken bones, dried bonito, and so forth. It has been discovered that an excellent richness and a rich aftertaste are exhibited by a plant-based soup base that is produced by carrying out mixing and then emulsification on a starting material that contains a flavored oil/fat and a plant milk cream.
