A plant cultivation device according to the present invention comprises: holders (20); spacers (S); a plurality of conveyance paths (11) including a first conveyance path (11A) and a second conveyance path (11B); a culture solution tank (17); a first take-in/take-out unit (25); a second take-in/take-out unit (26); and a control unit (50). The control unit controls at least one of the first take-in/take-out unit and the second take-in/take-out unit such that the growth stage of the plants in the holders disposed in an earlier-cultivation-phase section (Scf) of the first conveyance path differs from the growth stage of the plants in the holders disposed in an earlier-cultivation-phase section (Scl) of the second conveyance path. The control unit also controls at least one of the first take-in/take-out unit and the second take-in/take-out unit such that when, in the holders disposed in later-cultivation-phase sections of the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path, the growth stage of the plants in one of the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path is a stage immediately preceding harvest, the spacers are disposed in the later-cultivation-phase section in the other of the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path.
