Abstract:

Provided is a plant-growing lamp that can be used to promote growth of plants for which circularly polarized light emitted in order to promote growth is different, and that enables replacement of a reflection-type circular polarization plate only. The plant-growing lamp has a lamp body having a light exit surface, a light source held by the lamp body, and a reflection-type circular polarization plate for selectively reflecting circularly polarized light that is in a specific rotation direction in a specific wavelength band. The reflection-type circular polarization plate has a support body and a circularly polarized light reflection layer supported by the support body. The lamp body has a holding mechanism to which the reflection-type circular polarization plate is detachably mounted so that the main surface of the reflection-type circular polarization plate faces the light exit surface.
