Abstract:
A growing medium bag (204) for a green coverage system, such as a green roof system or a system for greening a development site. The bag comprises a water-restrictive layer (20), a moisture retention layer (22), and optionally a filter (layer 24). The thickness of the water-restrictive layer (20) is between 150 μm and 1 mm, and is selected so as to create the desired growing environment within the bag.
