Title:
PLANTS HAVING ENHANCED TOLERANCE TO INSECT PESTS AND RELATED CONSTRUCTS AND METHODS INVOLVING INSECT TOLERANCE GENES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/144882
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided herein are isolated polynucleotides and polypeptides, and recombinant DNA constructs useful for conferring improved tolerance in plants to insect pests; compositions (such as plants or seeds) comprising these recombinant DNA constructs; and methods utilizing these recombinant DNA constructs. The recombinant DNA constructs comprise a polynucleotide operably linked to a promoter that is functional in a plant, wherein the polynucleotides encode insect tolerance polypeptides.
