Abstract:
A PDP, wherein a dielectric layer and a bulkhead comprise a silicone resin having polysiloxane bondings. The silicone resin preferably has one or more of a methyl group, an ethyl group and a phenyl group which are attached to siloxane bonds. In addition, a sealing material layer preferably comprises a silicone resin. The above PDP allows the reduction of electric power consumption during operation, which results in the suppression of yellowing of glass and deterioration of a phosphor and in the reduction of production cost.
