Abstract:
A plasma display panel (PDP: 10) comprises a first panel (12) and a second panel (14) opposed to each other. The first panel (12) includes a first substrate having display electrodes extending in the first direction (D1) and address electrodes extending in the second direction (D2) crossing the first direction (D1). For example, the second panel (14) has a second substrate (RS) opposed to the first substrate through a discharge space (DS), partition walls (BR1) formed on the first substrate side of the second substrate (RS), and alignment marks (AM20) formed on the second substrate (RS) with use of the material same as the partition walls (BR1). Furthermore, for example, the alignment marks (AM20) are disposed at intervals outside the area where the partition walls (BR1) are formed, and project toward the first substrate side. Consequently, the accuracy of positioning the first panel (12) and the second panel (14) can be improved.
