Abstract:
The present invention relates to a plasma igniter for accelerating fuel atomization, enabling a low-pressure fuel pump and a gas (air) supplying device to be applied. The plasma igniter for accelerating fuel atomization, according to the present invention, comprises: a voltage electrode to which a high voltage is applied; a housing spaced from the voltage electrode by a discharge gap, and electrically grounded so as to form a flow passage therein; and a fuel atomization accelerating member provided at the end portion of the voltage electrode so as to induce the dispersion and atomization of the fuel, which is supplied together with air, by means of heat that concentrates when plasma is generated.
