Abstract:
A matrix type sustained release preparation prepared by employing plasma irradiation technique by forming a multi-layered particle containing a medicated tablet or granule or the core material and having the outermost layer comprising a plasma-degradable polymer and a plasma-crosslinkable polymer and irradiating the outermost layer with a plasma to thereby facilitate the control of a releasing pattern while preventing the contained medicine from being directly exposed to the plasma.
