Abstract:
A plastic cap tightening equipment, wherein a plastic cap (2) stored in a tank (1) is heated by a heating device (3) and fed to an aligner (5) through a feeding passage (4), the cap aligned in a specified attitude and delivered from the aligner (5) is fed to a plugging machine (7) through a cap feeding passage (6), a radiation thermometer (9) for measuring the temperature of the cap being installed in the cap feeding passage (6), and the cap (2) is tightened with a specified torque onto the neck part of a bottle (8) filled with beverage, whereby, when the cap is tightened, it can be judged beforehand whether a desired tightening angle can be provided or not by measuring the temperature of the cap with the radiation thermometer (9).
