Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a component (10) of a roof opening system of a motor vehicle in a tool comprising at least one mold cavity, having the following steps: placing at least one panel-shaped semi-finished product (32) into the tool; deep-drawing the semi-finished product in the tool in order to form at least one deep-drawn section (20) of the component (10); introducing a plastic material into the mold cavity of the tool in order to mold at least one molded section (22) and in order to connect same to the deep-drawn section (20); and removing the component (10) from the tool.
