Abstract:
Provided is a plastic lens manufacturing method comprising the steps of: discharging a plastic lens raw material liquid from the tip opening of a discharge hole of a mixing/discharge unit which comprises a mixing chamber comprising a stirring means for stirring the plastic lens raw material liquid and the discharge hole communicating with the mixing chamber; injecting the discharged plastic lens raw material liquid into a molding die comprising a cavity and an injection hole for introducing the plastic lens raw material liquid into the cavity from the tip opening of the injection hole; and polymerizing the injected plastic lens raw material liquid in the molding die to obtain a polymer.  Before the plastic lens raw material liquid injected into the injection hole arrives in the cavity, the molding die is fixed with the tip opening of the injection hole coupled to the tip opening of the discharge hole, and the fixed state is maintained until the cavity is filled with the plastic lens raw material liquid.
