Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a plastic lens-molding adhesive tape which is capable of minimizing generation of defects, such as wrinkling and bleaching, at an outer periphery of a molding when a high-refractive-index plastic lens is molded by a brief temperature elevation process; and a method for molding a plastic lens. This problem is solved by a plastic lens-molding adhesive tape that has a substrate and an adhesive agent layer formed on the surface of said substrate, wherein: the adhesive agent layer comprises an acrylic copolymer having a functional group and a crosslinking agent capable of reacting with said functional group; said acrylic copolymer has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of at least 1,100,000 and a molecular-weight polydispersity (Mw/Mn) of at most 10.0; said adhesive agent layer has an elution percentage of at most 48.0% when immersed for two hours in toluene the temperature of which being adjusted to 80°C; said adhesive tape exhibits a shift length of 0.15-0.50 mm after 800 minutes in a creep test; and said plastic lens has a refractive index of at least 1.59.
