Abstract:
Disclosed is a plastic optical product or a plastic lens for eyeglasses, which has excellent heat resistance, while having an optical multilayer film.
Specifically disclosed is a plastic optical product in which an optical multilayer film (3) that is composed of seven layers is formed on the surface of a plastic base (1) directly or with an intermediate film (2) being interposed therebetween. With respect to the layers of the optical multilayer film (3), one immediately above the plastic base (1) is a low refractive index layer, and low refractive index layers and high refractive index layers are alternately arranged. At least the high refractive index layer located in the center of the optical multilayer film (3) contains substoichiometrically oxidized titanium. In a plastic lens for eyeglasses, which is an example of the above-mentioned plastic optical product, the plastic base (1) is composed of a plastic lens base for eyeglasses, the intermediate film (2) is composed of a hard coat film, and the optical multilayer film (3) is composed of an antireflective film.
