Abstract:
The present invention pertains to: [1] a plasticizer for a halogen-based resin that is a condensate obtained by an esterification reaction of a furan dicarboxylic acid compound and a C4-22 aliphatic alcohol, wherein the aliphatic alcohol includes saturated aliphatic alcohol and unsaturated aliphatic alcohol, and the unsaturated aliphatic alcohol content is 25 mass% or less; and [2] a halogen-based resin composition containing this plasticizer. This plasticizer has a plasticizing capacity equal to or greater than that of phthalate plasticizers with respect to halogen-based resins, and also exhibits exceptional effects in terms of compatibility, heat resistance, and cold resistance.
