Abstract:
The present invention relates to: (1) a plasticizer for halogen resins, which contains a didecyl phthalate mixture having a linear or branched chain alkyl group that has 10 carbon atoms, and wherein the content of di-n-decyl phthalate in the didecyl phthalate mixture is from 48% by mole to 70% by mole (inclusive); (2) a plasticizer composition for halogen resins, which contains the above-described plasticizer; and (3) a halogen resin composition which contains a halogen resin and the above-described plasticizer. A plasticizer according to the present invention exhibits excellent plasticizing effect on halogen resins, while exerting excellent effect without deteriorating the characteristics of the halogen resins in terms of productivity, workability, kneadability and heat resistance.
