Abstract:
A plate and frame filter press with a sealed variable filter chamber of an elastomer, comprising a plate body (1) and frame body components (3). The plate body (1) is detachably embedded into the frame body components (3). The frame body component (3) comprises a first frame body and a second frame body matching each other. An elastic frame body matching the first and second frame bodies is provided between the first frame body and the second frame body. Inner sides of the first and second frame bodies clamp the elastic frame body. An elastic substance (4) or an elastic air bag (2) is used for the elastic frame body. Both sides of the plate body (1) and the frame bodies are enclosed into slot bodies, separately. The depth of the slot bodies is decreased as the first and second frame bodies are squeezed to the elastic frame body. Multiple filter press plates are stacked at the frame body components (3). First and second slot bodies on an opposite side of adjacent filter press plates are formed into a filter chamber. By applying pressure to the frame body components (3), the first and second frame bodies are squeezed to the elastic frame body thereof so that the depth of the first and second slot bodies is decreased so as to squeeze a filter press substance in the slot bodies. The filter press can implement an ultra-high pressure squeeze on a filter cake. A filer cake with low water content can be obtained more easily.
