Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a plate glass production device equipped with: a shaping device which allows a molten glass continuously supplied to a molten metal within a tank to flow on the molten metal and which shapes the molten glass into glass ribbons; a rotation roll which is disposed in the vicinity of the outside of the tank and which pulls the glass ribbons obliquely upward from the molten metal; and a support device which supports the rotation roll from the bottom.
