Abstract:
A plate heat exchanger comprises a plurality of parallel-oriented plates (1) mounted with a gap inbetween and consisting, each, of two rectangular metal sheets (2) provided on their interfacing surfaces with protrusions (3) forming, when the sheets (2) are joined, labyrinth channels connected with an inlet collector (6) and an outlet (7) collector, intended, respectively, for feeding and removing the heat carriers. Additional heat exchanging elements are mounted between the plates (1). The sheets (2) of the neighbouring plates (1) are provided with common flat bridges (5) located in one plane perpendicularly to the surface of said sheets (2) at the edges of the extended sides and join each other so as to form the bottoms of the inlet collector (6) and the outlet collector (7), respectively. In the plane of the bottoms are located, respectively, the inlet and outlet openings of the labyrinth channels (4).
