Abstract:
The present invention provides a plate heat exchanger with which it is possible to improve heat transmission performance for a heat transfer section in a flow channel through which a second liquid that changes phase by exchanging heat with a first liquid is caused flow. The present invention is provided with a plurality of heat transfer plates that include heat transfer sections having a first surface and a second surface facing the opposite side from the first surface, each of the heat transfer sections being interlayered in a first direction. First flow channels through which a first liquid is caused to flow in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction are formed between the first surfaces of the heat transfer sections of adjacent heat transfer plates. Second flow channels through which a second liquid is caused to flow in the second direction are formed between the second surfaces of the heat transfer sections of adjacent heat transfer plates. The heat transfer section of at least one heat transfer plate among adjacent heat transfer plates includes, as a ridge formed on the first surface, at least one barrier-forming ridge that extends in a direction intersecting the second direction and that divides the heat transfer section into two or more segmented regions in the second direction, the barrier-forming ridge abutting in an intersecting manner a ridge formed on the first surface of a counterpart heat transfer section. The heat transfer sections of adjacent heat transfer plates in which the second surfaces face each other include, as recessed lines formed in the second surfaces, a plurality of recessed lines for forming the second flow channel, each of the plurality of recessed lines constituting part of the second flow channel, the plurality of recessed lines for forming the second flow channel extending from one end to the other end of each of the two or more segmented regions in the second direction in the segmented region, and the recessed lines being disposed at intervals in a third direction that is orthogonal to both the first direction and the second direction.
