Abstract:

A plate-like body conveyance device has a panel support member (16), a restraint body (24), and a variable tension mechanism (26). The restraint body (24) comes into contact with a corner of a plate-like body with tension applied to the restraint body, and this applies force acting toward the panel support member (16) to a plate-like body. The variable tension mechanism (26) is connected to one end of the restraint body (24) and adjusts tension acting on the restraint body (24) by varying tensile force acting on the one end of the restraint body (24). The plate-like body conveyance device can stably convey a plate-like-body such as a panel with the body held along a substantially vertical surface.
