Abstract:
A plate manufacturing apparatus (100), comprising: a rolling mechanism (10) for rolling a plate (200); and a freezing mechanism (20), which is arranged upstream of the rolling mechanism and is used for freezing the plate. Further provided is a plate manufacturing method. Before rolling, a plate is frozen so that water in pores of the plate can form fine ice crystals after being frozen, and the ice crystals prevent the pores of the plate from being compressed and disappearing during rolling. Therefore, a plate with a high porosity can be obtained, and thus it is easier for an electrolyte to fully infiltrate the plate, thereby improving the cycle performance of a battery.
