Abstract:
This plate material has a polygonal plate shape and is provided with: a core layer comprising a foaming body, or a hollow body including a plurality of cells; and two skin layers stacked on the respective surfaces of the core layer. The plate material has: a plurality of side edges each including a compressed section formed by compressing the core layer in a thickness direction; end surfaces each formed by folding, at each of the side edges, one of the two skin layers toward the other; and corner parts at each of which the two side edges intersect. The compressed section is provided on the end surface between the two skin layers. The corner parts each have a planar section in which the compressed section is formed to be larger than the portion of the side edge except for the corner part.
