Abstract:
Provided is a plate pressing device capable of winding up a plate so as to come into close contact with the surface of a body the entire width of the plate. The present invention is provided with: a rotationally operable support shaft 16 provided parallel to the axis of the body; a plurality of arms 17 rotatably supported by the support shaft 16; a plurality of pressing rollers 13 which are respectively supported by the plurality of arms 17 and of which positions are changeable from a standby position spaced apart from the body by the rotation of the support shaft 16 and a pressing position where the rollers move from the standby position to a side approaching the body and press, to the body side, a plate 11 wound around the body; and biasing means 18 that are provided to the respective pressing rollers to bias the plurality of pressing rollers 13 in a direction approaching the body, and are disposed to the support shaft so that at least portions thereof overlap the pressing rollers in the axial direction of the support shaft.
