Abstract:
A plate 1 comprises a plate-shaped main body part 11 having a central part 13 whereon food is placed and a rim part 14 surroundingly disposed to the central part 13, and an annular foot part 12 disposed on the underside of the main body part 11 in a position corresponding to the perimeter of the central part 13. The main body part 11 comprises an annular groove 15 cut into the foot part 12. The annular groove 15 is shaped so that the groove width progressively increases from the groove bottom 16 to groove opening 17. The groove width L1 of the groove opening 17 is configured to be greater than the width L2 of the lower end section of the foot part 12.
