Abstract:
A heat transfer plate for a plate type heat exchanger, that: causes a first surface (Sa1) of a heat transfer unit to face a first surface of a heat transfer unit in a heat transfer plate lined up adjacent thereto; causes a second surface, being the rear surface of the first surface (Sa1), to face a second surface of the heat transfer unit in the heat transfer plate lined up adjacent thereto, on the other side thereof; forms a first flowpath between the first surfaces (Sa1); and forms a second flowpath between the second surfaces. The first surface (Sa1) of the heat transfer unit includes: a plurality of first ridges (230); barrier ridges (231) lower than the first ridges and extending in a direction intersecting the first ridges; and a plurality of first grooves (220) formed between adjacent first ridges. The second surfaces of the heat transfer unit include a plurality of second grooves that are in a front-rear relationship with the first ridges. The dimension of the barrier ridges (231) in the longitudinal direction is shorter than the total length of the heat transfer unit. The barrier ridges (231) in adjacent heat transfer plates are arranged at mutually displaced positions and intersect the first ridges (230) of the partner heat transfer plate.
