Abstract:
A plate wave element is equipped with a piezoelectric body, a comb electrode, which is disposed on the upper surface of the piezoelectric body, and a medium layer, which is disposed on the upper surface of the piezoelectric body so as to cover the comb electrode. The comb electrode excites Lamb waves as the primary wave thereof. The medium layer possesses frequency temperature characteristics inverse to those of the piezoelectric body. The plate wave element possesses superior frequency temperature characteristics.
