Abstract:
This platform gate device (100) comprises: an installation member (30) which is fixedly installed on a platform (1); a first gate (10) which includes a lower bar (11) and an upper bar (12), the lower bar (11) being attached to the installation member (30) so as to be turnable between a restriction position where the lower bar (11) restricts entry into a portion of a boarding path on the installation member (30) side and a permitting position where the lower bar (11) rises upwardly from the installation member (30) and permits entry into said portion of the boarding path, the upper bar (12) being attached to the installation member (30) above the lower bar (11) so as to be turnable between a restriction position where the upper bar (12) restricts entry into said portion of the boarding path and a permitting position where the upper bar (12) rises upwardly from the installation member (30) and permits entry into said portion of the boarding path; and a second gate (20) which is turnably provided at each of the leading ends of the lower bar (11) and the upper bar (12) and restricts entry into the rest of the boarding path.
