Abstract:
A high-precision platform scale.
A platform scale for weighing an object to be weighed, the platform scale being configured to perform the weighing with the object supported by load detection sections. The load detection sections are each provided with a load sensor (40) formed by joining a tuning fork vibrator (41) to a block body (42) which reduces an applied load and transmits the reduced load to the tuning fork vibrator (41); a board on which a circuit for converting a signal of the tuning fork vibrator into a digital signal is mounted; and a sensor case (33) for containing the load sensor and the board. The sensor cases (33) consist of a stainless material molded by a lost wax process and are directly joined to foundation frames (20), which are arranged side by side, to maintain the distance between the foundation frames (20). The sensor cases have sufficient mechanical strength and can double as structures for the foundation frames, and as a result, the number of parts and the height of a load mounting table can be reduced.
