Title:
PLAY SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1999/038590
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A play system such that the results of a game played by players are more objectively evaluated. The play system (1) comprises game machines (2a, 2b, ...), a host computer (3) for performing various processings, and communication lines (4a, 4b, ..., 5a, 5b, ...) for interconnecting them. When there occurs a request for playing a game, the game machine (2a) connects itself to the host computer (3) through the communication line (4a), transmits the request to the host computer (3), and receives information about the opponent from the host computer (3) to the game machine (2a). For the game machine (2b), the same processings between the game machine (2b) and host computer (3) are done. The game machines (2a, 2b) having taken in the information about the opponents cut the communication line (4a) connected to the host computer (3) and connect themselves to each other through the communication line (5a) to start a game.
