Abstract:
In the present invention, for a preceding song and a succeeding song, an extraction unit (131, 132) extracts the signal of a sound component of each of a central orientation region and a non-central orientation region, from an L-channel signal and an R-channel signal. A playback control unit makes the first period length of a first period which is from the start of fade-out processing pertaining to the central orientation region to the end of fade-in processing pertaining thereto shorter than the second period length of a second period which is from the start of fade-out processing pertaining to the non-central orientation region to the end of fade-in processing pertaining thereto, and the playback control unit sets the first period to be within the second period. The playback control unit causes the fade-out processing pertaining to the non-central orientation region to end after the fade-in processing pertaining to the non-central orientation region has started, and causes cross-fader reproduction to be carried out. The playback control unit causes the fade-out processing pertaining to the central orientation region to end after the fade-in processing pertaining to the central orientation region has started, and causes cross-fader reproduction to be carried out.
