Abstract:
The present invention has a simple structure to press a portion of a string instead of a finger when playing a guitar, thereby preventing wrist pain to thereby enhance performance efficiency and provide convenience during playing. Provided is a playing aid for a guitar, comprising: a main body having a fixture detachably mounted on the top side of the neck of a guitar; a shaft disposed on the main body and extending parallel to the neck; levers extending rearward of the neck in a state of being engaged on the shaft and being capable of manipulation by fingers; press bars coupled to the shaft and pivoted according to manipulations of the levers, and extending forward of the neck to press strings of the guitar; and elastic members coupled to the main body or the shaft to elastically support the operations of the levers and the press bars.
