Abstract:
A PLC system of the present invention is provided with: a programmable logic controller having a PLC unit and a memory unit; and an arithmetic expression data creation assistance device that creates arithmetic expression data of an arithmetic expression to be executed by the PLC unit. The arithmetic expression data creation assistance device has: an input unit that accepts, from a user, input information that serves as a variable to be used in an arithmetic operation and the arithmetic expression that includes the constants to be used in the arithmetic operation; and an arithmetic expression processing unit that finds a calculation order for the arithmetic expressions. The memory unit maintains an arithmetic expression data table for managing the arithmetic expression data that includes the input information, the constants and the calculation order. The PLC unit is provided with an arithmetic operation unit that is connected to the memory unit, and executes the operation of the arithmetic expression in accordance with the calculation order, using the input information and the constants.
