Abstract:
A pleat type filter for a dust collector equipped with an optimal design feature for
reducing the installation area of the pleat type filter as much as possible while
keeping a low ventilation resistance when the pleat type filter for a dust collector
is arranged while the pleat is directed in the vertical direction. While employing
a dirty filter cloth resistance as the resistance coefficient by residual dust
not shaken off by a shaking operation and a filtering material, the aperture value
(P/H) which is the ratio between the interval P between two crests in the pleat
of the pleat type filter and the height H of the crest is 0.1-0.3 from the relation
between the installation area of the pleat type filter and the aperture value
(P/H).
