Abstract:

The invention relates to a pair of pliers comprising: two parts (3, 5), each of which having a gripping jaw (9, 13) provided with a gripping surface; an articulation (7) that pivotally connects the two parts (3, 5); and handle elements (17, 19) that are associated with the parts (3, 5). The pliers are characterised in that at least one of the opposing gripping surfaces is curved, i.e. is convex with respect to a central axis M of the gripping jaws (9, 13).
