Abstract:

Disclosed is a pliers, comprising a first pliers body and a second pliers body, the first pliers body comprising a first claw and a first handle which are movably connected to each other, wherein the first claw is rotationally connected to the second pliers body at a first connection position, the first handle is rotationally connected to the second pliers body at a second connection position, when the relative position of the first claw and the first handle changes, an acting force exists between the first claw and the first handle, and the force moment formed by the acting force with the first connection position being the fulcrum is greater than the force moment formed by the acting force with the second connection position being the fulcrum. The pliers use two lever systems, and under the prerequisite that the instrument size is not changed, an equivalent moment arm is increased in actual use, thereby achieving a labour-saving purpose. Further provided is a water pump pliers having the above-mentioned labour-saving structure, and the opening width between claws can be quickly adjusted.
