Abstract:
A plug connector is disclosed. A plug connector according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a contact (400) which is in contact with a receptacle connector (20) so as to conduct electricity; an insulating member (300) coupled to the contact (400); and a cable member (600) connected to the contact (400) to conduct electricity and supported by the insulating member (300), wherein the cable member (600) includes a cable conductor (640) which is in contact with the contact (400) to conduct electricity and has a cross-section of a first diameter (d1), wherein the insulating member (300) includes a cable conductor protection portion (340) which is located adjacent to the cable conductor (640) and configured to limit a distance that the cable conductor (640) is pressed in the height direction thereof, wherein the cable conductor protection portion (340) may include: a first protective surface (341) extending in the width direction of the insulating member (300); a second protective surface (342) that is continuous with the first protective surface (341) and extends obliquely in the height direction of the insulating member (300); and a third protective surface (343) that is continuous with the second protective surface (342) and extends in the height direction of the insulating member (300).
